What's happening

Governor Newsom proclaimed a statewide El Niño emergency on September 21, 2026. A wetter winter is likely, so now's the time to check your levee section and your supplies.

King tides arrive Nov 24-26, Dec 22-25 and Jan 20-23. The season peak is 7.23 ft on Dec 24. NRRD has sand and sandbags at 1501 Milton Road. Bring a shovel and haul your own.

The NRRD board meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Fire House. It's the best place to hear about pumps, sewer service and levee work.
